Claudia Fancello is a choreographer, performer and teacher based in Montreal. She completed a BFA in contemporary dance at Concordia University (1998). She was a co-founder of Solid State Breakdance (Canada's first bgirl dance company) (2000-2006) and has performed with House of Pride, Julie Lebel, Zoja Smutny, Katie Ewald, Tammy Forsythe, Histeria Nova (Croatia) among others. As a dancemaker, she has presented Pins and Needles at Tangente and as part of the 401 Dance Collision. Currently Claudia is working with Ame Henderson/Public Recordings (Memories and Statements, Manual For Incidence, /Dance/Songs/), Martin Belanger (Grande Theorie Unifee, L’Ere des Tenebres) and Jacob Wren (Hospitality One: The title is constantly changing).
